Campus Visit (Utica)
We offer individual campus visits daily, Monday – Friday at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. It’s up to you to select what you’d like to do during your personal visit. You can take a campus tour with a student tour guide or have a one-on-one appointment with an admissions counselor, or both.
Campus Visit (Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering – Albany NanoTech Site)
We offer visits by appointment. You will be given a tour of the CNSE and be able to ask questions regarding the admissions process and requirements.
Open House (Utica Site)
This is your chance to experience the most of SUNY Polytechnic Institute and it’s all in one day. You can speak with faculty, learn more about the academic program(s) you’re interested in, see research and activity demonstrations, interact with student clubs and staff offices, take a campus tour, and enjoy lunch on us.
Open House (Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering – Albany NanoTech Site)
CNSE Open House aims to provide an opportunity for prospective undergraduate students to learn more about what makes CNSE unique: our Bachelor of Science degrees in Nanoscale Engineering and Nanoscale Science, our faculty, our exceptional facilities and the career paths of our alumni. The open house consists of an overview of CNSE and its innovative undergraduate programs, a comprehensive facilities tour of the nanotechnology complex including the 300mm and 450mm cleanroom facilities. The open house concludes with a great opportunity to present general and specific questions, as well as to learn about paths our faculty have taken.
Offered twice a year, our information sessions include a small group presentation by an admissions counselor and a campus tour.
Get the Scoop (Summer Open House)
Our summer Get the Scoop program is a half day visit that includes an admissions overview, campus tour, and ice cream!
Accepted Student Day
Every spring, accepted freshmen students and their families are invited to campus for a special program. Speak one-on-one with faculty members, hear from student services offices, participate in a mock class, listen to a faculty and student panel, tour the campus, and more!
Faculty-Student Meet and Greet (Albany)
Every spring, accepted freshmen students and their families are invited to campus to speak one-on-one with faculty members and tour the campus. Please check your email for an invitation to this event. For more information, contact Krista Thompson.
We offer group visit options for school counselors interested in bringing high school and community college students to our campus. Visits usually consist of a half-hour information session with an admissions counselor and an hour and a half walking tour of the campus with one of our student tour guides. We ask that you arrange your visit in advance to accommodate your needs. View the Group Visit page for more information or to schedule your visit.
