Facilities & Resources
To support advanced writing and design courses, the college installed a
20-station electronic classroom with state-of-the-art equipment for
teaching computer graphics, digital photography, and desktop publishing.
The classroom has Web access, along with numerous leading edge software
applications for developing and enhancing graphics, Web pages, on-line
documentation and presentations. The lab houses black and white and
color printers, a scanner, an overhead projection device, and a central
file server.
The program recently upgraded its Apple Macintosh dual processor G4 lab
to accomodate creation and manipulation of computer graphics, digital
photography, computer visualization, animation, Web design, and desktop
publishing. The laboratory has 19 individual stations which can be configured
for group work. The lab's machines feature DVD video inputs, along with
high-end color and black-and-white output devices and scanners.
