Jeremy J.Jeremy Joseph
Resident Advisor, Mohawk Hall
Major: Business Administration

About me:
I am currently studying for an undergraduate degree in Business Administration as mentioned above with a minor in Finance.  I am originally born in Brooklyn, NY and a proud graduate of George Westinghouse H.S. Before Res. Life I was a member of the SUNYIT Men’s Basketball team for two years and apart of Wildcat Media. When I am not busy with school and its duties, I like to hanging out with friends, working out, and just enjoying life.

Where do you see yourself after SUNYIT?
After finishing my undergraduate degree at SUNYIT, I see myself either going back to school for my Master's or working a full-time job for an equal chance for advancement.

What has been your greatest accomplishment thus far in this position?
Being that I am a first year RA I do not really have many accomplishments to choose from yet. Since this is the case I would have to say being able to introduce the speaker Dr. Maura Cullen at the Diversity Summit would be the greatest for now. It was beneficial, because it helped with my public speaking skills and was a good learning experience.

What do you think is essential for being a Residence Life Staff member at SUNYIT?
In order to be a Residence Life Staff member I think it is important that when you set aside a time to do a task to make sure it gets done. Procrastination in this position could be your demise which does not only affect you because you are part of a team. I believe taking initiative is also important. There will be a lot of times when there is something that needs to be taken care of and you will have to volunteer yourself to get it done. If the initiative is not taken then no work gets done.
