The Office of Public Affairs builds relationships and helps tell the SUNY Poly story, on and off-campus, through a variety of media. From the design of publications to the coordination of content on our website, sunypoly.edu, staff members work to support and publicize the activities and achievements of SUNY Poly students, faculty and staff.
On our website, news releases are archived at news.sunyit.edu; postings to the internal newsletter, “Interface,” are at interface.sunyit.edu; and the electronic version of the SUNY Poly alumni magazine, “The Bridge,” is at sunypoly.edu/thebridge. SUNY Poly announcements, information, photos, video, etc., are available at: www.facebook.com/sunyit, www.twitter.com/sunyit, and www.youtube.com/sunyit.

To ensure the integrity of SUNY Poly’s name, brand and logo, students, faculty and staff are asked to consult with public affairs staff before designing, creating, publishing and contracting for the manufacture of permanent communication-related and promotional items such as web content, t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. Consistency of brand identity will help everyone tell the SUNY Poly story more effectively.
