Sociology Minor
A minor in sociology is of value to students who wish to integrate interests in business, nursing, the technologies, or computer science with the broad conceptual and analytical framework provided by sociology.
| A. General Requirements |
| A student desiring a minor in sociology must register with the program and take a minimum of 17 credits of sociology/anthropology courses, at least 8 of which must be taken at the Institute of Technology. |

| B. Specific Requirements |
| ANT 301, SOC 300, or an introductory anthropology or sociology course. |
| At least one of the following Tier II courses: |
| ANT 320 |
| SOC 314 |
| SOC 351 |
| SOC 360 |
| |
| C. Additional courses, to promote coherence, must be selected in consultation with a sociology/anthropology advisor. |
