Transfer CreditGraduates of community college programs in health information technology enter this program with two full years of credit; they can anticipate completion of the bachelor's degree in four semesters of full-time study. Full credit is given for prior coursework in health information technology. Graduates of other health-related fields or the natural sciences are evaluated individually and may receive a full two years of transfer credit. Recommended prerequisites for transfer students include introductory courses in statistics and accounting, and a one-year laboratory sequence in human anatomy and physiology. |
