Career Paths in Applied SociologyAdvance your career as you learn! “The graduate program at SUNYIT was helpful to me for career advancement opportunities. During my involvement in the program, I was promoted from a program coordinator in a local non-profit, to a Director position. The program was flexible enough that I was able to tie my studies to my daily responsibilities on a regular basis. I utilized real-life work scenarios for my class projects, and conducted research on topics that benefited my agency. I was able to accomplish work and school-related projects simultaneously! Within six months of graduation, I was promoted again, to Executive Director of the same non-profit agency. The applied sociology graduate program helped to make that possible.” — Brenda Episcopo Veronica Tichenor
