FAQs

What is the difference between an MBA and an MS?
The MBA degree is a more general degree than an MS degree. The MS requires extensive prerequisite coursework while the MBA does not.

Is the GMAT exam score required?
Yes, a GMAT score is required of all students. We will accept a GRE or another standardized test (LSAT, MCAT, etc.) in lieu of the GMAT.

When is the admission deadline for the MBA program?
Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis. Application deadlines are: August 1 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester.

How many credit hours can be transferred in from another university?
You can transfer 12 credit hours from another graduate school toward the 48 credit hour MBA. Students enrolling in the 33 credit hour fast track MBA can transfer 6 credits. We do not grant credit for work experience or undergraduate course work.

Is financial assistance or aid available?
Tuition scholarships, diversity fellowships, loans, employer sponsorships, and graduate assistantships are all available. For assistantships, call us at (315) 792-7429. For more information on loans call the financial aid office at (315) 792-7210.
