Joseph Corasanti

Joseph J. Corasanti is President and Chief Executive Officer of CONMED Corporation (Nasdaq: CNMD). Conmed is a manufacturer of surgical products and equipment. Prior to assuming this position, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice-President/General Manager of the Company and as its Vice President – Legal Affairs and General Counsel. Mr. Corasanti joined CONMED in 1993 and has served as a Director of Conmed since 1994. Before joining Conmed, Mr. Corasanti was an Associate Attorney with the law firm of Morgan, Wenzel & McNicholas in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Corasanti is also a member of the Board of Directors of II-VI, Inc. (Nasdaq: IIVI), a manufacturer of optical and electro-optical components and devices for infrared, e-ray, gamma-ray, telecommunication and other applications, where Mr. Corasanti is a member of the audit committee.
Mr. Corasanti holds a B.A. degree from Hobart College and a J.D. degree from Whittier College School of Law. He graduated Cum Laude from Whittier College School of Law where he was also an editor of the Whittier Law Review. He was also an extern clerk for Judge Robert Boochever for the Federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena, California. He is admitted to the State Bar of both New York and California.
