Web Insurance Waiver Information

Full-Time Students
Save $$$ During Web Registration!

Full-time students (12 OR MORE CREDITS) are automatically billed for Student Health Insurance EVERY semester.

If you have YOUR OWN Health Insurance, BRING THAT INFORMATION WITH YOU EVERY SEMESTER WHEN YOU REGISTER.

  1. Press Health Insurance Waiver link at bottom of any Registration Page.
  2. Complete the Health Insurance Waiver Form.
  3. Press SUBMIT and cost of Student Health Insurance will be deducted from your bill.
  4. Check for notice, "YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE WAIVER INFORMATION HAS BEEN SUBMITTED SUCCESSFULLY."
  5. Re-submit waiver information if you do not receive this message.

 

If you enter your Health Insurance Information after registration, follow these instructions.

  1. Go to SUNY Home Page on the web. www.sunyit.edu
  2. Locate "Quick Links."
  3. Select "Campus Intranet" in "Quick Links."
  4. Click Banner www login "Student Information Access."
  5. Enter SSN# and password.
  6. Press LOG IN.
  7. Re-enter PIN # (security measure).
  8. SUNY Information Main Menu will appear.
  9. Select "Personal Information Menu."
  10. Select "Health Insurance Waiver" and fully complete waiver form.
  11. Press SUBMIT and cost of Student Health Insurance will be deducted from your bill.
  12. Check for notice, "YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE WAIVER INFORMATION HAS BEEN SUBMITTED SUCCESSFULLY."
  13. Re-submit waiver information if you do not receive this message.
