Hardware:

256 MB RAM, 1 GB free hard disk space. Additional hardware may be required for degree programs and courses.

Internet Connection:

High-speed, broadband, and DSL internet connections are recommended. Hardwired connections are recommended when taking assessments (exams, quizzes, tests). Wireless and dial-up connections are not as reliable and may be problematic when taking assessments online. Dial-up connections are not recommended for fully online courses.

Software:

Adobe Acrobat Reader, an editor like Window's WordPad or Notepad, or Macintosh's TextEdit. Additional software may be required by degree programs and courses.

Firewalls:

Firewalls on computers, internet connections and networks may need to be adjusted to allow access to the ANGEL site at https://sunyit.sln.suny.edu. Note: The SUNYIT computers are set up to work with ANGEL.
