Sigma Theta Tau InternationalSigma Theta Tau International is the Honor Society of Nursing. The School of Nursing and Health Systems' Iota Delta Chapter includes in its membership students, alumni, faculty, and community leaders in nursing. The purpose of this society are to recognize superior achievement and the development of leadership qualities to foster high professional standards, to encourage creative work, and to strengthen commitment to the ideals and purposes of the profession. Eligibility is determined by scholastic achievement, evidence of professional potential, and/or marked achievement in the field of nursing. |
