Advanced CertificatesThe School of Nursing & Health Systems offers five Advanced Certificates in Nursing: Nursing Administration, Adult Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, and Nursing Education. The Advanced Certificates enhance knowledge and skills within the specialty areas of nursing education and nurse educator role, leadership and management, and adult, family, and gerontological nursing practice. These Advanced Certificates are designed as post-master’s certificates and are for nurses who already hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing and other graduate degrees in nursing.
