SUNYIT offers three Advanced Certificates in Nursing: Nursing Administration, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Nursing Education. Advanced Certificates enhance knowledge and skills within the specialty areas of nursing education and nurse educator role, leadership and management, and adult, family, and gerontological nursing practice. These Advanced Certificates are designed as post-master’s certificates and are for nurses who already hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing and other graduate degrees in nursing.
| The CAS Adult Nurse Practitioner and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner programs are no longer accepting new students. Prospective students are encouraged to learn more about our CAS Family Nurse Practitioner program.
