SUNY Poly’s nursing & health professions department continues to be in the forefront of nursing practice, nursing education, and health information as it plays a leadership role in central and eastern New York. Our nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and the health information program by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). Programs are registered by the New York State Education Department.

1+2+1 program with St. Elizabeth College of NursingOur RN to BS program is being redesigned in a more student-oriented online format that will allow students to attend synchronous classes online rather than traveling to campus every week. We will use the Collaborate functions of our Angel online platform so students can participate with their classmates in real time, from any place with Internet access. We are very excited about enhancing our current format to allow students the flexibility of working on their classes online most of the time, while integrating some in-person class time for each course via a variety of electronic devices.

Prospective and present students, staff, and colleagues -- We are very interested in hearing if the information on our website gives you a genuine understanding of our programs. If you have any comments, please email us:
