Nursing

The School of Nursing and Health Systems offers a bachelor of science degree in nursing and health information management and a master of science degree in adult nurse practitioner, family nurse practitioner, gerontological nurse practitioner, nursing administration and nursing education. The School also offers advanced certificates in adult and family nurse practitioner and nursing administration.

The School of Nursing and Health Systems continues to be in the forefront of nursing practice, nursing education, and health information as it plays a leadership role in central New York and in the SUNY Nursing Outreach Program in eastern New York. The School's nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE, 1 Dupont Circle NW, Washington, DC, 202-887-6791) and the health information program by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). Programs are registered by the New York State Education Department.
