Marian Kovatchich MS.RN.
I am currently the Secretary for Iota Delta chapter of Sigma Theta Tau. I have been an active member of the National Honor Society of Nursing since 1984. I transferred my original chapter membership from the University of Evansville (Indiana) to Iota Delta chapter when Iota Delta chapter was started at SUNYIT.
I have been a faculty member at St. Elizabeth College of Nursing in Utica, NY, since 1977 and have had roles of instructor, curriculum coordinator, and Dean of Academic Affairs, which is my current position. I believe it is a privilege and honor to serve my local chapter of Sigma Theta Tau in order to advance the scholarship of nursing and also to participate in networking with peers in central New York.
