Procedure:
Submit a request via OCLC or FAX an ALA form.
Restriction:
We require reciprocal agreements. We provide materials to only those libraries that provide materials to us for free.
Loan periods and renewal requests:
Initial loan periods are 28 days with one renewal allowed if the item is not on hold for our patron. When requesting a renewal, please include all contact information, the title and the ILL number of the item.
Materials available for lending:
General collection monographs; microforms; theses, if second copy is available; government documents; audio-visual, except DVDs.
Materials not available for lending:
Selected items from special collections, DVDs, whole issues of periodicals, reference books, newspapers, and items on Reserve.
Charges for lost materials:
SUNYIT charges replacement cost plus a $10 processing fee.
Department schedule:
The ILL department is staffed Monday to Friday from 9 to 5. The library is closed between Christmas and New Year’s.
