Graduate Assistant PositionsAssistantships are awarded each academic year to selected students in a masters degree program. The assistantships provide a full New York State tuition waiver. Graduate assistants generally enroll for 9 credit hours per semester and are assigned teaching, research, or administrative responsibilities for 10-20 hours per week. Students interested in graduate assistantship should complete the Application for Graduate Assistantship. A completed application automatically establishes an assistantship file. Students applying for graduate assistantships must have a 3.0+ undergraduate GPA. A screening committee will contact candidates if additional materials are necessary to complete the application process. |
