Request Tracker
Request Tracker (RT) is the ticketing system used by several college departments to track and manage requests for service, and non-mission critical production problems. Ticket categories are available with fields to get information needed for providing service.
A ticket (request) is often passed among support groups with the history of actions performed. Those who submit tickets can log in to RT to see the status of their request and are emailed when the ticket is closed.
RT is accessed from the Quick Links, the ITS web site and from http://rt.sunyit.edu.
- Log in with your SITNet ID.
- Click New ticket to bring up the ticket categories.
- Select the approproiate category.
- Complete the ticket and click Submit
- Logout when finished
Login with the guest account if the SITNet ID is not available. Guest tickets cannot be viewed since multiple people use the guest account. Guest account instructions
