SSH - General Information
SSH client is used to make secure remote connections, whether on or off campus, to any UNIX based servers on the SUNYIT network. This client also handles secure file transfers between your local computer and the server. SUNYIT is replacing its use of less secure protocols such as telnet and FTP in favor of secure protocols.
The free non-commercial version of SSH is available for download.
