Student Computer Accounts
SITNet ID
Activate SITNet ID
Locked SITNet IDs
Students must maintain continuous registration to keep their SITNet ID active. Advance register for fall semester courses to keep your SITNet ID active through the summer. Student SITNet IDs will lock automatically without notice for the following reasons:
- Not registered within 90 days of their last registered semester. Advance register for fall semester courses to keep your account active through the summer.
- Extended access for a student with an "incomplete" or "IP" grade expired or was not arranged by the course instructor. Contact your course instructor to arrange for extended use of your SITNet ID.
- Graduated more than 365 days ago.
- De-registered for not confirming charges or paying bill.
- Violated college policy such as the Copyright Policy or Acceptable Use Policy
- Violated state or federal law relating to computers or data.
NOTE: Access to Banner will always be available even when the SITNet ID is locked.
Computer Science Accounts (CS accounts)
Students taking Computer Science courses need to obtain a Computer Science acccount to access departmental resources. Your SITNet ID must be activated before you will be able to set up a CS account.
CS accounts and resources are managed by the Computer Science department.
Macintosh Accounts
Students taking courses in the Macintosh labs will use a Macintosh account to access the lab resources. Authorized users are issued the Macintosh account through the course professor.
Macintosh computer accounts are allocated a 1 GB of disk space for their home directory on the lab server. The home directory can be used to store file, web pages and also has file transfer rights.
