Web Directory (public_html)
SITNet ID account holders can create a web directory for storing store files that are accessible from the web. The SITNet ID holder runs the setup4html command from the Unix command line to create the web directory, which will be located inside the personal workspace and named public_html.
Files that are web accessible can be sent as web links within the body of email messages rather than as email attachments. Web links to files do not bog down the system or consume much space in the e-mail recipient's mail directory. Personal web pages can also be saved in your web directory (public_html folder).
