Request Tracker
Request Tracker (RT) is the ticketing system used by several college departments to track and manage requests for service, and non-mission critical production problems. Ticket categories are available for- Office Computing
- Account Logins
- Banner
- ResNet
- Lab computing and Citrix
- Computer Science department resources and labs
- Library computing
- Email, Calendar
- Telephone system
- Printing support
- CourseSpace, CourseSpace Light, MeetingSpace and SLN courses
- SUNYIT web site and blogs
- Classroom instructor stations
A single ticket or request is often serviced by different support groups. Tickets can be passed among support groups along with the history of actions performed. Those who submit tickets can log in to RT to see the status of their request and are emailed when the ticket is closed.
RT is accessed from the Quick Links, the ITS web site and from http://rt.sunyit.edu.
- Log in with your SITNet ID.
- Click New ticket to bring up the ticket categories.
- Select the approproiate category.
- Complete the ticket and click Submit
- Logout when finished
