How do I set up mail forwarding?

• Click on Mail Forward Utility. Supported browsers are Internet Explorer 6.0 and later, Firefox 1.0.x.


• Login with your SITNet username and password.


• Click Yes to enable mail forwarding.


• Click on the Process Forward Change button.


• Enter the e-mail address you want your mail forwarded in the appropriate fields.  If you have a SUNYIT Gmail account and want to have your email delivered to it, set this address to be your username@sunyit.edu.test-google-a.com  (i.e. brownel@sunyit.edu.test-google-a.com)
  


• Click the Process Forward Change button again to set the forward.


• WAIT until the message that the process has been completed is displayed. It may take a minute. Closing out of the process before it has been completed messes up the mail forward.


• Click Close to exit.


• Send a message to your SUNYIT email address to ensure that your mail forward is working correctly. If it is not; go back to the Mail Forward Utility, log in, remove the forward, then set it again.
