11/3- Thursday, 12:30 pm - Winter Clothing Workshop - It is that time of year when the temperature is dropping. Come to the Cat's Den in the Campus Center to participate in a workshop focused on appropriate winter clothing...hats, sweaters, coats, and boots. Staff from the Health and Wellness Center will present different types of clothing that will keep you warm all winter long.
11/11- Friday, 5:30 pm - Syracuse University vs University of South Florida Football Game in the Syracuse Carrier Dome - If interested, immediately come to the ISS and Student Activities Office in the Student Center to sign up for the drawing on November 7 for two free tickets. The tickets and the bus to and from the game are all free. This is a great opportunity to see big-time college football in front of about 40,000 fans. This event is free, compliments of the SUNYIT Campus Activities Board.
11/15- Tuesday, 12:00 noon - Business Etiquette Luncheon - Business casual attire is required for this free program where you enjoy a great lunch and learn proper dining etiquitte for important business lunch and dinner meetings. To be included in this important workshop sponsored by the Career Services Office you must register online by 11/7, at the Career Services website under Business Etiquette Luncheon.
11/16- Wednesday, 5:00 pm - Five College International Harvest Dinner at MVCC - Please come to this fun night where the international students from MVCC, HCCC, Utica College, Hamilton College, and SUNYIT all come together for a night of cultural sharing, dinner, and a DJ dance. Bring your favorite music to dance the night away. Two vans will transport you to and from this fun event. You must sign-up in the ISS Office to participate. Please indicate if you will be there for dinner, or if you will attend later, after class. The program begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 11:00 pm.
11/19- Saturday, 5:30 am - One-Day Trip to New York City - Sign up immediately if you are interested in this free trip to NYC for the day. The bus leaves early in the morning, will make one stop and drop people off in the center of NYC to spend the day shopping and seeing the sights of New York.
11/22- Tuesday, 6:00 pm - NYC Thanksgiving Bus Trip - Return 11/27 at 6:00 pm - Now is your chance to have an extended stay in NYC and see the sights. Round trip tickets ($80) on sale Friday 10/28, One way tickets ($50) on sale Friday, 11/4. First come, first serve - 55 tickets available. Tickets available in the College Association Office, Kunsela Hall, top floor. Trip subsidized by Student Association.
