What Is the Timeline for Submitting My OPT Application?
You may submit your application to the USCIS Service Center up to 90 days before your OPT start date, but no later than 60 days after your degree conferral date. Keep in mind that it can take 10-12 weeks to process OPT applications at the USCIS Vermont Service Center.
