AcademicsSUNYIT offers 20 bachelor's degrees and 11 master's degrees in professional, technical and liberal arts programs to qualified students who have completed the equivalent of the first two years of college study (US Standard). Starting in fall 2003, freshmen will be admitted to select degree programs, as the college makes the transition from two-year to four-year institution. Classes are small so students have the opportunity to know their professors and classmates better. Students enjoy social, cultural and recreational activities in a community-oriented setting where they can interact with other students, faculty and staff. The college provides special English courses to assist international students who have difficulty with the written English language. SUNYIT's Learning Center provides support for students to help them adjust to cultural differences in American education. Questions? E-mail: Shannon Jones |
