Graphics Workstation
Graphics Workstation is available to support Faculty, Staff, Administration, and Student use for the output of material onto color overhead transparencies, color prints, videotape or DVD. The graphics station contains most of the recent windows based graphics and word processing programs. Also available is a full bed color scanner for use in importing pictures, 35mm slides, and documents using optical character recognition. Color photocopy services limited to output onto a few copies or overhead transparency (no large volume duplication). There is a charge for students, to cover the cost of hard copy materials (color prints or overhead transparencies). An appointment for services and assistance is necessary.

Notebook Computers - Faculty Use
A number of notebook computers are available for faculty for sign out for use in the classroom or off-campus presentations. Notebook computer sign-out is limited to 48 hours and computers must be picked up at the Instructional Resources Center during normal business hours. These notebook computers contain a built-in glide path pointer, optional external mouse, network card, AC power supply, CD ROM drive and sound card. Two recent additions contain DVD player and wireless networking. All notebook computers contain an external RGB Video port for connection to a classroom based or portable multimedia video/data projector. Software available includes the MS Office Suite.

Notebook Computers - Student Use
Instructional Resources no longer provides notebook computers for student rental. Computers needed for classroom presentations should be scheduled through the respective faculty member or student club/organization advisor. The faculty member or student club/organization advisor will be responsible for picking-up and signing out the laptop.
