Elluminate: for live web-based teaching Elluminate is a web-based tool that allows participants to meet in a virtual classroom. View some demos to see what Elluminate can do. Features include:
Resources: Elluminate has partnered with many organizations to sponser a wide-range of webinars on higher education topics. Learn more and register.
Getting Started for Faculty: Elluminate's website provides excellent training materials. If you plan to use Elluminate, you will need to attend two live, online training sessions via Elluminate Live! The live training is ongoing and free, just visit this website for the schedule and signup for the two classes listed below.
You should also visit the Moderator Training for 9.5 page. This is filled with both recorded Elluminate training clips as well as PDF downloads. We are in a pilot phase currently (Fall 2009) and virtual rooms are limited. To request an Elluminate course or meeting, please contact the CETL office (Carol Berger x. 7118 or Reena Lederman Gerard x.7427)
