Culture

How we make sense of our world and ourselves is articulated by and mediated through our cultural practices.  The diverse forms of human expression -- what we say, what we build, and what we create  -- give shape to our experiences of the world and forge our sense of ourselves and others.  Cultural Analysis and  Interpretation is the Area of Inquiry in which we explore our forms and modes of expression, from classical art to digital film, everyday conversation to philosophical discourse, religious sentiment to the games we play, and examine how these cultural practices reflect and shape who we are and how we make sense of the world.
