Health & Wellness Services
If you have your own insurance, you can still utilize the Health and Wellness
Center Health Services because you have paid the Health Fee.
The following services are available to all full-time and part-time students
who provide a copy of their completed Health History and Physical Examination
Report to the Health and Wellness Center:
- Routine Health Care
- First Aid and Emergency Care
- Nurse-Practitioner Visits
- Physician Visits
- Health Counseling
- Flu Vaccine
- Vaccines
- Prescription Medications
- Over-the-Counter Medications
- Health Literature/Health Education
- Fit and Loan of Crutches
- Blood Pressure Monitoring
- Suturing and Suture Removal
- Routine GYN Exams (nominal fee)
- Birth Control
- Consultations with Local Area Specialists
- Consulting Dietician
- EKG's
- Lab Work*
- Testing for Sexually Transmitted Diseases*
- Web Based Health Information
The Health and Wellness Center stocks many prescription and non-prescription
medications that are free for students.
*Possible nominal fee dependant on required testing.
