Men's sports include baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming and volleyball. Women's sports include basketball, bowling, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, and volleyball.
Men's Volleyball and Men's and Women's swimming begin competition in 2007.
SUNYIT is proudly home to the 2004 New York State Softball Champs - Division III.
Yes, SUNYIT offers an intramural program which includes volleyball, tennis, basketball, softball, racquetball, soccer, badminton and others.

What are the athletic facilities like?
Athletic facilities include a fitness center, weight room, a racquetball court, tennis courts, an indoor running track, gymnasium, and a six-lane swimming pool. An outdoor fitness and nature trail is also a beautiful part of campus.
Construction of a new sports complex began in Fall 2009.
What athletic organizations does SUNYIT belong to?
SUNYIT is a member of the NCAA Division III and participates in the Eastern College Athletic Conference. In addition, our teams compete in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC). Women's teams also compete in the New York State Women's Collegiate Athletics Association.
