Applying for financial aid at SUNYIT is as simple as completing the

(FAFSA).

Merit Scholarships
SUNYIT is committed to acknowledging academic achievement through our
merit scholarship program. Scholarship
criteria include academic achievement as well as supplemental
information such as an applicant's essay, letters
of reference,and extracurricular activities. Scholarship candidates will
be selected from the top ranks of admitted freshmen.
The following freshman academic merit scholarship amounts were awarded
for fall 2008:
- $4,350
- $2,175
- $1,000 Presidential
These scholarships are renewable annually provided recipients meet renewal
requirements and full-time status at SUNYIT.
Currently 20% of our entering freshman students receive an academic
merit award.
*Awards also include a residential portion which requires recipients
to live on-campus to receive full award amount.
