When these Buddhist monks decided their temple needed a website, a member of our faculty turned it into a class project. Students put web design, writing, photography, and video production skills to work. Along the way, they overcame translation challenges and experienced a unique immigrant culture. The result, www.khmertempleutica.org, is an example of how our students combine learning with doing – gaining knowledge with helping others.
