Blood, Body Fluid or Infectious Agent Exposure
An exposure means a specific eye, mouth, or other mucous membrane, non-intact skin or contact exposure with blood or other potentially infectious materials
IF YOU ARE EXPOSED:
- Immediately WASH area with soap and water or eye wash for 15 minutes as applicable.
- NOTIFY your supervisor.
- OBTAIN medical help.
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm notify EHS at 792-7101; if unavailable call University Police at (111).
- After hours (nights, weekends, holidays), call University Police at (111).
- If you are exposed after hours, IT IS REQUIRED that you notify University Police.
