The Department of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) was established in 1987 at SUNYIT to ensure compliance with a growing number of governmental regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety. EHS is responsible for providing direction and implementing policy in all aspects of environmental health and safety on campus, and provides technical and regulatory services to the campus community. The EHS goal is to make health and safety information readily available and to help advance the mission of SUNYIT.
