Persons with Disabilities


Any graduate or guest requiring special accommodations due to a physical handicap should contact SUNYIT's environmental health & safety office, 315-792-7101, at least four weeks prior to Commencement.

While general seating at the event is available on a first-come, first-served basis, a number of seats will be reserved for those with mobility issues. This area will be indicated by posted signage.

A sign language interpreter will be stationed near the stage throughout the ceremony. The location of a seating area for persons with hearing impairments will be identified in the Commencement program.
