Activities
CETL will host a series of workshops designed to enhance face to face and online teaching and learning. The workshops will be available for in-person and online participation, and will be recorded and made accessible for later viewing.
The "Faculty to Faculty" workshops will feature SUNYIT faculty who will present from their personal experience with the topic at hand. "CETL Presents" workshops will feature an invited guest or CETL staff and faculty who will present from their area of expertise with the topic at hand.
The "Summer Institute" will feature presentations, hands-on workshops, and round-tables to share with colleagues on that topics at hand. Faculty will be able to participate in the full program or select sessions.

Building Rubrics to Assess Student Learning
Presentation: Learn how a rubric simplifies grading, clarifies assignments for students, and ensures academic quality.
Hands-On: Build a rubric for one of your student assignments.
Round-Table: Share with colleagues.
May 13: 9 am - 12 pm
Service-Based Learning
Presentation: Learn how real-world projects improve student outcomes, connect students with the community, and create meaningful learning.
Round-Table: Share with colleagues
Attend one or both sessions.
