Computer Tip
On Sunday I was watching the Super Bowl on my computer (well, only the commercials) and all was well. Monday, I go to watch TV and my tuner card is suddenly not working. I started having all sorts of completely random issues with it and had no idea why. Last night I finally got around to trying to fix it. After a couple of hours of fiddling with things, I called my friend Greg for some help. He made a suggestion that I would have never thought of: Turn the computer off, unplug it, hold down the power button for a few seconds, plug it back in, and boot the computer back up. To my amazement, everything was working again! I have heard of this method being used before, but only for major hardware issues (i.e. computer won't boot at all). Seems like it's more useful than I thought. Thanks, Greg.
