Judge Postpones APS cheating scandal trial due to Hall's Health
A judge has postponed the APS cheating case until August, this trial accused the Atlantic Public Schools of cheating on school held tests. This case is mainly accusing the superintendent Beverly Halls of not stopping the cheating. The judge was concerned about her health so the case has been postponed. This was sought out by Hall's lawyers due to her mental and physical standing, she has been undergoing chemotherapy. She has been suffering from breast cancer. Hall's oncologist Dr. Laura Weakland testified on her behalf saying the cancer has spread to her liver and bones. Atlanta mayor Andrew Young stated that the health of Hall should come before the trial.
