Cheating said to be on rise in North American B-schools
This article talks about how much cheating is going among business colleges across north America and how it is on the rise. a study done between 2002 -2004 showed 56 percent of business students cheated sat some point in college. A recent poll shows that number has risen. With the advances in technology it gets easier and easier to cheat. What interested me was it said that engineering students were in 2nd place behind business students with 58 percent saing that they have cheated. I think alot of engineering students don't think its really cheating, I have heard many students say in the workforce they dont care how we found the right answer, they just want it to be right. which i think they have a point. An engineer's job is to get the right answer/number they don't care who helped you or how you got it.
