U.S. Senate Ignores Public’s Desire To Expand Background Checks For Gun Sales, this article was a pole that showed by percentage how the bill to expand background checks was shot down. A little over 60% of poll takers said it should have been expanded while about 30% have voted that should not be expanded. Ethically  it seems that they are twisting and distorting numbers. If this was true that more people wanted this then it should have passed because the senate is controlled by people calling and voicing their opinion. I think it should not have passed after seeing Obama's very childish reaction to it being shot down and realizing that people don't want to be infringed upon.
