Hear Ye! Hear Ye! SUNYIT, in conjunction with Geek Week, is hosting a Renaissance Faire on Saturday, January 26, 2-6 p.m., in the Student Center. With an incredible line-up of shopping opportunities, crafts activities for children, strolling minstrels Arethusa, and Dagorhir Battle Games, kids can get into the ring with a Knight to do battle with their choice of weapon!

Vendors include: the Lords & Ladies of the Court featuring handmade Renaissance garb, accessories, and beaded jewelry; Mary's 4Ever Flowers, centerpieces, picture frames, and silk flower arrangements; Hearts and Soul Events featuring hand fans, hair feathers, scarves, and jewelry; Styles by Jen featuring body jewelry; Maggie's hand-crafted soap, shaving kits, feeted bags, jackets, and scarves; Medieval Works/Sew Possible featuring costuming, garb, and notions; Silks, Etc., featuring shawls and purses; Origami Owl featuring a unique jewelry line; It Works! Global featuring products with diverse, natural ingredients and a one-of-a-kind body contouring line, top-notch nutritional supplements, and specially formulated skin care line.

In addition, SUNYIT's Maid Cafe will be open and our maids will get you seated and take your order! The menu is: Buffalo Dragon Wraps; Corn Dogs; Funnel Cakes; Curly French Fries; Onion Rings; Steak-On-A-Stick; Coffee/Tea; Soda/Water; and Bottled Juices!
