Different wages for essentially the same job.
What if you had the same rank as someone but becuase of the county you live you have to do the same work but for one-third the price? Recent studies have shown that there is a significant difference between town supervisors for Warren and Washington Counties. The research indicates that supervisors for Washington County earn an average $8,986 annually. Not only do they make less than $8,000 but they have the same responsibilities and chores as a Warren County officials making almost triple with one official making nearly $70,000. With these wage differences it forces Washington County Supervisors to work two or three jobs, making their community work more of a 'part-time' job which knowing might make residents uneasy knowing that their leader only works part time.
