IT Positions
New York State Government is hiring qualified applicants for numerous IT positions throughout the state. Joining State Government has many benefits and opportunities including Union benefits, generous vacation and leave, and many promotional opportunities.
Many positions are entry level and start at $51,000 a year plus benefits. Interested applicants must first create a NYS Civil Service account and fill out a questionnaire listing which technologies they know and how much experience they have. Recent graduates or undergraduates with no work experience should select the technologies they learned in school and check the 0-3 months of experience box.
