511NY Rideshare Service Now Available

Need a ride to/from campus?  Or want to share your ride and split the cost?

SUNYIT has partnered with the NY State Department of Transportation's free 511 NY Rideshare ridematching service to help students, staff, and faculty find carpools, vanpools, bicycle buddies and transit options.

This service can help you find rides on a regular commute to campus or a single trip anywhere in the state.

On the free 511 NY Rideshare web portal for SUNYIT, you can quickly create a profile and find travelers who have similar travel routes and patterns with whom you can share a ride. The system also lets you easily send potential rideshare partners an e-mail or give them a call.

Your profile preferences will determine what information is shared with potential rideshare partners.
