Wal-Mart worker wants CEO fired
An article caught my attention today, citing that Venanzi Luna of California, a deli manager at a local Wal-Mart, is calling for her boss to step down to to unethical practice. Allegedly, the executive was bribing mexican officials in one way or other. It was her route of publicizing her cause that i found most interesting. She started an online petition, which now has more than 5,500 signatures! This highlights the newfound ability for common people to utilize technology to challenge authority over wrongful practice and get the attention they deserve through electronic methods.
