Kellogg's caught in mercury controversy; New York bans mercury toys in childrens' breakfast cereals

This article discusses a conflict involving Kellogg's and the state of New York pertaining to toys containing mercury being distributed in children's breakfast cereals.  Kellogg's was informed of the mercury within the toys batteries in the childrens cereals and their response was simply that they wanted to leave the toys in the cereal except for where it is illegal to do so.  So, instead of recalling the cereal with the toxic toys and potentially saving countless children from illness and possible death, Kellogg's decided to try to save the money and hastle of going through the recall process everywhere and only recall where laws require them to do so.  This is horrible, Kellogg's inhuman ethics is risking the health of numberous of unsuspecting children.
