This article talks about geothermal energy and how it can be used to heat and cool places.
Geothermal energy is heat from the earth that is clean and sustainable. Geothermal pumps can be used to heat and cool buildings. These systems consist of a heat pump, air delivery system, and a heat exchanger. During the winter, the system takes heat from the exchanger, which is a system of pipes buried in the ground, and pumps it into the building through the air ducts. In the summer the process is reversed and the heat is pumped from the building into the heat exchanger outside.
